- MAGPAS MEETING: Magpas is our charity of the year. Come along and find out more about Magpas and the service they provide in our local community. You will also get the opportunity to ask questions. No booking required. 6pm in the Terrace Café.

- FREE CRAFT DEMONSTRATION: Decorating Canvas. 2pm – 6pm. Craft demonstrations are FREE and are held at the craft desk.
16th May
- CRAFT WORKSHOP: Pergamano. 10am – 1pm. Cost £12 per person. Workshops can be booked at the Craft & Hobby Desk and must be paid for in advance, at least one week prior to the workshop.

- ORCHID CLUB MEETING: Come along and find out all you need to know about Orchids. Open to members and non-members. Join the Orchid Club for master classes, quarterly meetings, a seasonal newsletter with hints and tips, plus the opportunity to meet other enthusiasts. The Orchid Club is FREE to join.

- MAGPAS GREEN DAY: Please support your local medical emergency charity. Enter our raffle to win some great prizes including a garden furniture set. Tickets are available at reception from 21st – 27th May. Also, wear something green and donate a £1 to Magpas. There will also be chocolate cornflake cakes on sale in the Terrace Café. All proceeds will go to Magpas.

- HEARING DOGS FOR DEAF PEOPLE: A group of local socialisers and their puppies will be in the Terrace Café to answer questions about their role. Come and join them for a coffee and a chat about what they do from 10.30am – 12pm. Dogs for Deaf People is a national charity and world leader in training hearing dogs to alert deaf people to everyday household sounds and danger signals in the home, work place and public buildings. Puppy socialising is the first stage of a hearing dog puppy’s journey to becoming a fully trained hearing dog and helping change a deaf person’s life. The charity relies on volunteer puppy socialisers to give the puppies the best upbringing and to expose them to as many different surroundings as possible.
