- FREE KIDSCLUB WORKSHOP WITH LEAFY GREEN: Grow Your Own Tomatoes. Come along and meet Leafy Green in his potting corner. Leafy’s fun and interactive workshops will give children a chance to learn more about gardening and get hands-on with the plants. New for 2013, there are 10 badges to collect. This month’s badge is Tommy Tomato! Workshops are FREE and run between 11am 3pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please contact the store for further details.
- HEARING DOGS FOR DEAF PEOPLE: A group of local socialisers and their puppies will be in the Terrace Café to answer questions about their role. Come and join them for a coffee and a chat about what they do from 10.30am – 12pm. Dogs for Deaf People is a national charity and world leader in training hearing dogs to alert deaf people to everyday household sounds and danger signals in the home, work place and public buildings. Puppy socialising is the first stage of a hearing dog puppy’s journey to becoming a fully trained hearing dog and helping change a deaf person’s life. The charity relies on volunteer puppy socialisers to give the puppies the best upbringing and to expose them to as many different surroundings as possible.

- CRAFT WORKSHOP: Pergamano Workshop. £17.50 per person. Workshops must be booked and paid for in store at the Craft & Hobby Desk at least 1 week before. 10.30am – 4pm.

- CHARITY WEEKEND IN AID OF MAGPAS: Over the weekend of the 25th, 26th & 27th May Huntingdon Garden & Leisure will be hosting a variety of entertainment all in aid of raising money for their Charity of the Year - Magpas. The weekend will include: children’s rides, a candy floss stall, an Ibex Tent Display, craft activities and a charity raffle. All activities are weather permitting and taking place over various times. Please contact the store directly on 01480 410750 for further information.

- AGE UK: Age UK Cambridgeshire will be in store between 10am – 2pm giving you the opportunity to meet the experts who can offer you a range of tailor-made products and services designed with the over 50s in mind.
