- FREE KIDSCLUB WORKSHOP: Grow Your Own Tomatoes. Give children a chance to learn more about gardening and get hands-on with the plants. They will be guided through planting their own seeds and how to care for them. New for 2013, there are 10 badges to collect. This month’s badge is Tommy Tomato! - BBQ WEEKEND: Throughout the weekend Barnett Hill Garden & Leisure will be holding their very own BBQ Weekend. From 11am - 3.30pm, there will lots going on in store including food tastings, children's entertainment and face painting. On Saturday 25th May, a representative from Outdoor Chef will be demonstrating a variety of BBQ skills to teach you everything you need to know to have the perfect summer feast! - 'DONATE, DON’T WASTE’ IN AID OF THE LEUKEMIA UNIT APPEAL FUND: Do your bit for the charity and help to raise much needed funds to enable them to carry out their invaluable work in the community. Bring along any unwanted good quality items and put them directly into the Leukemia Unit Appeal Fund van in the car park. Donations will then be sent to the charity warehouse where everything will be distributed to the charity shops for selling. Every last Wednesday of the month 11.30am – 1.30pm and 3.30pm – 5.30pm.

- BLOODY TECHNOLOGY MURDER MYSTERY: Brand New Event! It's Aunt Daisy's 80th birthday party and she has invited her relatives to the beautiful Barnett Hill Garden & Leisure to celebrate! Everyone is out for Aunt Daisy's money, and everyone has something to hide! We need your help to discover who knows what about who? And will technology help or hinder them?
- On Thursday 4th July from 7pm to 9.30pm, Barnett Hill Garden & Leisure will be holding a Murder Mystery Evening. The cost of the evening is £20pp and includes a three course meal. To book you will need to complete a booking form (which is available by contacting the store) and handed in to the Terrace Cafe. A £5 deposit per person is also required.
