First Earlies are the very first crop of potatoes in the year. Beautiful to look at freshly dug from the soil. Even better to eat as new potatoes! Harvested in May and June.
Second Earlies help extend that new potato season right into the height of summer. Most can also be left to mature use as a maincrop. Harvested in July and August.
Fine-flavoured varieties perfect for salads, due to their waxy texture. A selection of early and main cropping types provides Salad potatoes from July to the Autumn.
Maincrop varieties are those grown for their full-sized potatoes and are best for storage over the winter months. Harvesting and storage in September and October.
Available in late July to early August. Christmas potatoes, do not need to be chitted, and are planted direct. Harvest in 11 weeks or dig them up for your Christmas Lunch!
